Why Somatic Healing?

The body holds the blueprint for transformation.

The Somatic Practitioner Program offers a mind-body (neurosomatic), trauma-informed approach to healing, transformation + personal development that begins with building a relationship to the body + its wisdom. When we use the body as the master blueprint, we have a portal into understanding how our earlier (and generational) experiences have shaped us (for better or for worse) + how those experiences may be contributing to our current mental, emotional, physical + spiritual issues. In working with these somatic processes in the body we can support a root healing to reclaim our wellbeing + true authentic selves.

What is Neurosomatics?

Expand your mind-body wisdom.

If we break down the term “Neurosomatic,” “Neuro” refers to the brain + nervous system while “somatic” refers to the body. Neurosomatic healing simply examines the ways in which the relationship between your mind and body manifest in your life.

Who is the right fit?

Are you called to work with the wisdom of the body to support healing + transformation?

The right fit for this program is someone who enjoys group learning + has already established a foundation for their own healing work (in some way). This program would not be appropriate for a person who is just starting out on their healing journey. For regulated professionals, such as counselors, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, SSW + osteopaths, please know the somatic process does not require the use of Reiki with clients. Reiki is used in the program to support the development, skills + wellbeing of the practitioner.
Who is this training right for?

Pre-requisite Training

Reiki Level 2 is required prior to starting your Somatic Practitioner Level 1+2

The somatic practitioner competencies are heavily influenced by the art of energy healing + the use of ancient healing practices. Proof of level 2 reiki training is required. If you don't have your Reiki level 2, you can take Mode's Reiki Certification training, which can be completed at one of our Reiki 1+2 Practitioner Retreats or individual classes. For regulatory professionals, please know the somatic process does not require the use of Reiki. Reiki is mostly used in the program to support the development + wellbeing of the somatic practitioner.

The Commitment

A practitioner can only take others as far as they have gone.

Training in somatic work requires a deep commitment from oneself to learning + embodying a body-based approach to healing so you are able to facilitate the work for others. Students must set aside 8-hours per week for the 8-weeks of online study, including the 1-hour live calls. The in-person 2-day training is then an additional 14-hours of training, along with case study practice.
The Commitment

Extra Support

This is a deep healing program that may require additional support.

It is important to be aware that this work can bring up a lot mentally, emotionally, + physically. Please do your best to ensure you have a less stressful schedule during your 8-weeks of training, along with nothing planned across your 2-day weekend training. After the weekly calls + in-person training you will want processing time in the evenings. Students should also know that they may need to get extra support in order to process what surfaces for them during training.
